Authorized investigators, journalists, researchers, legal teams, nonprofits, families, and responsible members of the public. Each brings different authority and different constraints; the workspace provides the same disciplined record for all of them, with access controlled per case.
Why it looks the way it does
The interface is deliberately editorial rather than instrumental: calm typography, hairline structure, and information that reads like a well-kept archive. Long investigative sessions demand legibility, not spectacle. Every visual choice favors the record.
Status
Second Trace is an independently built product. This preview runs on synthetic demonstration data. Public deployment, public case intake, and external integrations remain off until explicitly authorized.
